JON HOLCOMBE PHOTOGRAPHY

My photographic journey
into the forest
After realizing that I would rather hike into the Pine Barrens than paint on an easel, I began to explore 1.1 million acres of the Pinelands National Reserve, from the Delaware Bay to Central New Jersey.
I learned photography and the forest by trial and a lot of error. My first Nikon is at the bottom of the Muskee Creek, my son and I stood an hour before dawn listening to coyotes, and I communed with River Otters on frosty, misty mornings.
Showing you what I’ve discovered is a joy.
